Face Facts’ is my Royal College of Art M.A. film. A hand-drawn satire on the beauty industy, it won a Gold Plaque at the Chicago Film Festival, and has been shown on Channel Four in the UK.
‘The Wind on the Downs’ is a poem written by Marian Allen in May 1917, a few days after she heard her fiancé, Arthur Tylston Greg had been killed in an air battle over France.
The animation was commissioned by the Poetry Society. It was shown at the Royal Festival Hall on National Poetry Day 2014, and at the Freud Museum at an event on ‘Memory and Memorialisation’.
‘Fairground Fever’ is a hand-drawn animated film about the adventure a teenage girl has when the fair comes to town.
The five minute film consists of over 3,500 A4 acrylic paintings on paper.
